Kannada Sangha Singapore is a not-for-profit organization established on 11 September 1996, registered under the Registry of Societies, Singapore. Its mission is to promote the Kannada language, culture, and heritage among the Kannadiga community in Singapore and beyond.
Singara serves as a cultural hub for Kannada-speaking individuals, fostering unity through: - Cultural Events: Hosting festivals, music, dance, and theatre performances celebrating Kannada traditions. - Language Promotion: Offering Kannada language classes and educational programs for children and adults. - Community Engagement: Organizing social gatherings, workshops, and collaborative events to strengthen community bonds.
Membership covers the entire family — there are no additional charges. One registration includes all family members living in the same household.
The membership is valid for one full calendar year — from 1st January to 31st December. Members are encouraged to renew before the year-end to continue enjoying uninterrupted access to Singara events, programs, and benefits.

You can register easily by filling out the online membership form available on our website Singara.org or by scanning the QR code displayed in event brochures and posters.
Members will receive reminders via email or WhatsApp before expiry. Renewal can be done through the same online portal using your registered email or phone number.
Major annual highlights include Deepotsava, Kannada Rajyotsava, Vachanaanjali, Health Bites, Kannada Kali Day, and various art, literature, and sports competitions.
Event details and volunteer registration links are shared on our website, social media pages, and WhatsApp community groups. Anyone passionate about Kannada culture is welcome to join and contribute.
Kannada Kali is an educational initiative offering structured Kannada language classes for children and adults. The program helps preserve the language and connects the younger generation to their cultural roots.
