themes in a simplified manner – Symphony of Concepts. Their passion to express the ideas kept the design
thinking live and interesting in this journey.
What made it interesting is, a few experienced writers and contributors volunteered to guide these
experiments. I must mention Shri C.V Jagadeesh, Shri N. S. Vijaya Ranga Prasad, Shri Ramnath H. S. Shri
Girish Jamadagni, Shri Venkat Rathnaiah, Shri Vasant Kulkarni, Shri Samanth Krishnamurthy, and Smt
Rashmi Udayakumar, who supported the new literary entrants in the form of interviews, frameworks,
reviews or design. This initiative has provided a two-folded opportunity for learning and mentoring. In turn,
this process broadens the opportunities to enhance the standard and quality of the content, as we move
              on in the coming years.

It was very welcoming to see the invited literary contributions from both Singannadigas and artists who
visited Singapore to perform in Kannada Sangha platform. Their contributions have added variety to the
              edition.

Shri Tanveer Siddiqui, a promising Marathi writer has been an encouragement to translate his short story
“Lift” in this Magazine. Smt Shilpa Kubal has been the pillar of help in selecting this short story for
              translation.

Introducing cartoons is an attempt provide a respite to the reader with humor. Many thanks to Nagendra
Babu who has made efforts to read up the articles and come up with cartoons.

Kannada Sangha has been working with various organisations in Singapore. Messages from SIFAS and
Ramakrishna Mission has depicted Sangha’s stature in the cultural diaspora of Singapore.

Futura Infinite has provided their vast experience in printing this Magazine.

The sponsors have come wholeheartedly to leverage this platform to showcase their organisation. This
support has enriched the Magazine publication. There has been an increasing number of well-wishers who
have supported the Magazine through monetary contributions whom I owe a very special thanks.

I must make a mention of the current Executive Committee of Kannada Sangha Singapore who reposed a
strong trust in the editorial committee and provided timely support in bringing out this Magazine. Shubha
H.N and Chinmayi Nadiger supported me in the editorial committee.

The Editorial Committee was formed a year ago. I appreciate the initial thought process from everyone in
terms of the purpose of the Magazine, concepts and the contents they would like to see in this edition.
Ideation of concepts and synthesis of the same into tangible outcome has been the propelling force for the
              team’s success throughout this journey.
Mala Nagaraj and Arati Nagesh were co-editors in the previous magazine editorial committee. We were able
to draw ample guidance by having them in the current editorial team as co-editors. It was a commendable
work process of initial compilation of the material by Madhusudan and the final checks taken up by Mala
              Nagaraj.

The camaraderie in the team has been a delightful experience through the journey which, I am sure, has
enriched each member of the team. I personally feel very indebted to the selfless contribution made by
every member of the Editorial Committee.

              I’ve come out enriched!

                                                                                              Yours Truly

                                                                                             Ramesh M G
