Next Gen ¯ÉÆÃPÀ SURPRISE !!! - Kushala Kanakesh

‘Rrinnnnnnnnnnnng’ the alarm clock rang. It was my birthday! I woke up,
brushed my teeth, showered, put on my uniform, shoes, and made my hair. Last-
ly, I had my breakfast. I was so excited and was wondering what type of gifts I
                                                would be getting.
I went to school and returned home by 2.00 pm with a lot of gifts presented by
my classmates. When I came back, everything was normal. No celebration, no
cake and no gifts from my parents. I was so sad that I went to my room and start-
ed to cry quietly. After a few minutes, I tried to console myself and became
                                                cool.
Later, I went down for lunch and noticed that my mother had prepared all my
favorite food. I asked her what’s the reason but she didn’t tell me. After lunch, I
went back to my room to finish my homework. By evening, I completed all my
work and went down to play with my friends. It seemed like they too were not
aware of my birthday. I came back by 8:00 pm, had my dinner and went to bed.
When it was around 11:00 in the night, my parents began to wake me up. I woke up and asked them what was the reason to
wake me up. My father carried me and brought me to the living room. I was over the moon when I saw a scrumptious cake on
the table and was happier when I saw my friends lighting up the candle. I told them that I had thought that they all didn’t know
that it was my birthday. I started to understand why my mother made my favorite dishes. Then at that time, the clock struck
11:30 and I made my wish and blew my candle. After that, I cut the cake and my parents fed me first, followed by my friends and
then, it was my turn to feed them. By doing all this and eating the cake, it was 11:45 and then my most favorite part came, the
part where I get gifts!! I decided to open the gifts tomorrow after returning from school. Then finally the time came to open the
gifts. First, I opened my parents’ gift which was a beautiful musical dancing doll followed by my friends’ gift . I loved all the gifts!
It was the best ever! When my parents came home in evening, I thanked them with a big tight hug and kiss. Later, when I went
down to play with my friends, I thanked them all. I loved this surprise party.
         It was the best ever!!!
